Terms & Conditions

These terms govern participation in Amanah Circle financial education programmes. We encourage you to read them at your own pace. If anything is unclear, you are welcome to reach out before enrolling.

1. Definitions

Throughout these Terms and Conditions, the following terms carry the meanings set out below:

"Agreement" — These Terms and Conditions, together with any programme enrolment confirmation issued by Amanah Circle.

"We", "Us", "Our", "Amanah Circle" — Amanah Circle, a financial education provider operating from 31 Jalan SS 15/4, 47500 Subang Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia.

"You", "Participant", "User" — Any individual who accesses the Website, enquires about, or enrols in an Amanah Circle programme.

"Programme" / "Service" — Any of the financial education workshops, series, or planning programmes offered by Amanah Circle, whether delivered in person, online, or in hybrid format.

"Session" — A single scheduled educational meeting forming part of a Programme.

"Materials" — Workbooks, checklists, templates, slides, and any other educational content provided during or after a Programme.

"Website" — The Amanah Circle website accessible at https://amanahcirc.biz.

"Fees" — The programme price communicated at the time of enrolment, denominated in Malaysian Ringgit (RM).

2. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting an enquiry form, making a payment, or attending any Session, you confirm that:

  • You have read and understood these Terms and Conditions.
  • You are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement under Malaysian law.
  • If enrolling on behalf of another individual, you have their authorisation and accept responsibility for ensuring they are also aware of these terms.

If you do not agree with any part of this Agreement, you are warmly encouraged to contact us for clarification before proceeding.

3. Programme Description

Amanah Circle currently offers the following financial education programmes:

Tax Awareness Workshop

Two-session workshop covering personal income tax for Malaysian residents. Includes materials and a deduction checklist. Fee: RM 660

Property & Mortgage Education Series

Four-session series on property as a financial asset. Covers mortgages, refinancing, rental yields, RPGT framework, and more. Fee: RM 1,920

Full Spectrum Financial Planning Programme

Six-session holistic programme covering cash flow, protection, investment education, retirement projections, estate preparation, and tax optimisation. Includes four quarterly follow-up sessions. Fee: RM 3,420

Programme availability is subject to scheduling. Amanah Circle reserves the right to adjust session content to reflect current Malaysian regulatory frameworks without prior notice, while maintaining the educational scope described above.

4. Enrolment & Registration

Enrolment is confirmed only upon receipt of full programme fees and written confirmation from Amanah Circle. Submission of an enquiry form does not constitute a binding enrolment.

You are responsible for providing accurate contact and personal information at the time of registration. Should any details change after enrolment, please notify us promptly at [email protected].

Enrolment places are allocated on a first-come basis. Where a programme reaches capacity, you may be offered a position in a subsequent cohort.

5. Participant Responsibilities

To maintain the quality and integrity of the learning environment, participants are asked to:

  • Attend scheduled sessions punctually and notify Amanah Circle of any planned absences at least 24 hours in advance.
  • Treat facilitators and fellow participants with courtesy and respect.
  • Refrain from recording, photographing, or otherwise capturing session content without prior written consent from Amanah Circle.
  • Not share, redistribute, or sell any programme Materials to third parties.
  • Use any personal financial calculations or examples shared during sessions for personal learning purposes only.

Prohibited activities include disruption of sessions, misuse of shared financial data, commercial exploitation of Materials, and conduct that undermines the learning environment of other participants. Amanah Circle may withdraw programme access without refund in cases of serious breach.

6. Intellectual Property

All programme content, materials, slides, workbooks, templates, and methodology developed by Amanah Circle remain the intellectual property of Amanah Circle. Nothing in this Agreement transfers ownership of such content to participants.

Upon full payment of programme fees, participants receive a personal, non-transferable licence to use programme Materials for their own private financial education. This licence does not permit reproduction for commercial purposes or distribution to third parties.

The Amanah Circle name, logo, and related marks are proprietary. You may not use them without prior written permission.

7. Payment Terms

7.1 Fees & Currency

All fees are stated in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and are inclusive of applicable taxes where required by Malaysian law. Payment must be made in full prior to the first session unless a written instalment arrangement has been agreed in advance.

7.2 Accepted Payment Methods

Amanah Circle accepts bank transfer (online banking), DuitNow, and selected payment methods as communicated at the time of enrolment. Cheques are not accepted.

7.3 Rescheduling & Withdrawal Policy

Rescheduling: You may request to transfer your enrolment to a future cohort once, provided written notice is given at least 7 days before the programme commencement date. A transfer fee may apply.

Withdrawal 14+ days before commencement: 80% refund of fees paid.

Withdrawal 7–13 days before commencement: 50% refund of fees paid.

Withdrawal fewer than 7 days before commencement: No refund. The Materials issued up to that point remain accessible.

Cancellation by Amanah Circle: In the event we cancel a programme, a full refund will be issued within 14 working days, or you may transfer to an alternative cohort.

8. Programme Delivery

Amanah Circle will make reasonable efforts to deliver all sessions as scheduled. Session timings, venues, and facilitators are confirmed no later than 5 working days before programme commencement.

Sessions may be conducted in person at our Subang Jaya premises, online via a video conferencing platform, or in a hybrid format. Participants will be notified of the delivery method at enrolment.

If a session must be postponed due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control (including public holidays, facilitator illness, or infrastructure issues), we will reschedule as promptly as possible and notify participants with reasonable advance notice.

Follow-up sessions included in the Full Spectrum Financial Planning Programme are scheduled at quarterly intervals subject to mutual availability and are conducted primarily via online means.

9. Disclaimers

Educational Purpose Only. All content delivered by Amanah Circle is for educational and informational purposes. It does not constitute licensed financial planning advice, tax advice, legal advice, or investment advice as defined under Malaysian law.

No Specific Outcomes. Amanah Circle does not represent that participation in any programme will result in specific financial outcomes, tax savings, or investment returns. Individual results will vary depending on personal circumstances.

"As Is" Delivery. Programmes are delivered on the basis of current information and best educational practice. Regulatory and market conditions change, and content is updated periodically to reflect this. Amanah Circle makes no warranties regarding the completeness or continued currency of any Materials after the date of delivery.

Third-Party References. References to third-party financial products, platforms, or institutions during sessions are made for illustrative purposes only and do not constitute endorsement.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted under Malaysian law, Amanah Circle's total liability arising from or related to any programme shall not exceed the fees actually paid by you for that specific programme.

Amanah Circle shall not be liable for: indirect, incidental, or consequential losses; loss of income or business opportunity; financial decisions made by participants based on programme content; or any losses arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Nothing in this clause limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under Malaysian law.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Amanah Circle, its facilitators, and staff from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of programme Materials, or your violation of any applicable law in connection with your participation in an Amanah Circle programme.

12. Termination

Either party may end the enrolment relationship by providing written notice. The participant withdrawal policy in Section 7.3 governs refund entitlements on participant-initiated termination.

Amanah Circle may terminate your participation without refund in cases of serious misconduct, breach of participant responsibilities (Section 5), or where your continued participation adversely affects other participants.

Upon termination, your licence to use programme Materials for personal educational purposes continues, but any right to attend further sessions is extinguished.

13. Dispute Resolution

13.1 Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.

13.2 Informal Resolution

We would always prefer to resolve concerns informally and promptly. If you have a concern, please contact us at [email protected]. We aim to acknowledge your concern within 3 working days and provide a substantive response within 10 working days.

13.3 Consumer Rights

Participants retain all rights afforded to consumers under the Consumer Protection Act 1999 (Malaysia) and any other applicable Malaysian legislation. These Terms do not limit, override, or exclude those statutory rights.

14. General Provisions

Entire Agreement. This Agreement, together with the programme confirmation and Privacy Policy, constitutes the entire agreement between you and Amanah Circle regarding your participation in any programme.

Severability. If any provision of this Agreement is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force.

Waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision on any occasion does not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce it in the future.

Assignment. You may not transfer your enrolment or rights under this Agreement without our written consent. We may transfer our obligations to a suitable successor with reasonable notice.

Language. This Agreement is provided in English. In the event of any conflict with a translated version, the English version prevails.

15. Changes to These Terms

Amanah Circle may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our programmes, delivery methods, or applicable law. Material changes will be communicated by email to enrolled participants at least 14 days before taking effect.

The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page indicates when these Terms were most recently revised. Continued participation in any programme after the effective date of any change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
